Kevin is a Quantity Surveyor and building professional, he in excess of 50 years’ experience in all aspects of the construction industry in both New Zealand and Australia, including 19 years owning and operating a scaffolding company.
He developed the VOIDECK® Modular Temporary Void Platform System in Australia to satisfy a client who requested that he “come up with a better solution than using scaffolding in stairwells as it is a pain in the backside”.
VOIDECK® was developed and introduced to the Australian market in 2013 and has been used very successfully since. Being raised in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, when he decided to take VOIDECK® to New Zealand in 2017 he was committed to manufacturing locally to ensure that VOIDECK® was a quality product and to provide jobs to residents of his home town.
Brian is a CA qualified accountant with over 40 years’ experience in the accounting profession, including 25 years in a variety of finance, accounting, commercial and management roles within New Zealand Public Companies and Government Departments.
Brian also has experience in the building industry being involved in project managing a large 40 town house development. Brians commitment to Health and Safety attracted him to become involved with the expansion of the VOIDECK® business.
Brians extensive skills in business management and accounting will be available to assist all franchisees as they build their franchise business.
